Chief Operating Officer

Charles L. “Chip” Whitaker has over 35 years of experience supporting tactical, operational, and strategic level organizations in both the Department of Defense and other government agencies. His military assignments range from Platoon Leader to Task Force Commander as well as multiple staff assignments in both CONUS and deployed locations. 

After retiring from the U.S. Army, Chip continued to support our nation’s most challenging missions through defense contracting. He was the Director of Operations at Chenega Federal Systems, Senior Program Manager at CACI, then Chief Operating Officer at METIS Solutions through their acquisition by PAE and subsequently Amentum. Most recently, Chip was the Vice President of Strategy at Barbaricum.  

With a focus on client’s missions, Chip Whitaker’s approach focuses on his motto, “Mission First, People Always”. He focuses on enhancing customer support through client engagement. Support to clients and mission success is only accomplished by employing and supporting the right personnel. 

Within the community, Chip has been a member of Business Executives for National Defense (BENS) for over 4 years. He is also a member of various professional organizations, including AUSA, The American Legion, and the VFW. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is married to Anne Whitaker, and they have three children and two grandchildren.
