James “Mango” Manglona is the Vice President of Facility & Security Operations at Quiet Professionals, LLC, where he leads his team in support of the warfighting and civilian community efforts. Mr. Manglona has 30 years of combined security experience in the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Corporate Industrial Security arenas. From 2012-2021, he held positions as the Director of Security of Knack Works and the Senior Security Principle for CACI in support of their Intelligence and DoD programs, where he was responsible for the protection of classified programs in excess of $1 Billion. He championed the security efforts for CACI’s Counter –Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) missions, including both government and civilian efforts, supporting both U.S. and Theaters of Operation missions.
Mr. Manglona was a government Program Security Officer (PSO) at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and oversaw security operations for several contractor facilities in support of the NRO mission. Mr. Manglona was the lead security officer for the F-22 integration into the warfighting community, introducing the first stealth fighter into the Combat Air Forces (CAF). From 1991 to 2012, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces Defender, with most of his career supporting Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), and Special Technical Operations (STO) programs from the cradle to the grave. He has deployed in the Pacific, European, and Middle Eastern theaters on numerous occasions, providing Antiterrorism (AT)/Force Protection (FP) in support of the combatant commanders, ensuring the safety of national assets in order to project warfighting power.
Mr. Manglona has attended Community College of the Air Force, University of Maryland, and American Military University, studying Security Management.
